PROJECT SUMMARY

The client approached us having recently moved into a new property. The garden was not practical or safe due to uneven paving and varied surfaces. A small lawn and overgrown shrubs did not utilise the space well or allow for the client to do much gardening for themselves. Lastly a shed dominating the space needed to go!

KEY POINTS

  • New steps with contemporary hand rails provide safe access into the garden. A new open and level paved area enables free movement and opportunity for the client to add their own pots and features.
  • Raised beds with sensory planting provide contained areas that are easy to manage whilst adding colour and texture and softening the hard landscaping.
  • A pergola ties the two curving beds together and adds structure to the seating area with space for climbers.
  • New fencing, where absent, and the new pergola have been painted in a soft lavender tone to create a peaceful atmosphere.
  • A new shed in matching colour tones, sized to fit the proportions of the garden provides ample space for storage.
